Purvika’s Award-Worthy Journey: A Vidyakiran Awardee 

Purvika, a dedicated and hardworking student of 8th standard at Sri. R M Jain Vidhyapeeth Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Thiruvallur, is a well-deserving candidate for the Vidyakiran Appreciation Award. Hailing from Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, Purvika is deeply connected to her roots and values. She has a strong passion for academics, with Tamil being her favourite subject, reflecting her love for her heritage and culture. 

Purvika is also an active participant in extracurricular activities. She has represented her school in inter-school competitions, demonstrating her talent, competitive spirit, and dedication. Her favourite sport, kho-kho, showcases her ability to work as a team player and excel in fast-paced, challenging environments. Through kho-kho, she has developed resilience, discipline, and a sense of camaraderie, making it a sport she truly loves. Through these experiences, she has learned the value of sportsmanship, hard work, and the joy of representing her school at a higher level. 

Her favourite subject is Tamil, a language that holds deep cultural and historical significance. She finds beauty in its rich literary traditions, poetry, and classical texts. Tamil allows her to connect with her heritage and express her thoughts with precision and grace. 

Aspiring to become an air hostess, Purvika dreams of travelling the world and meeting new people. Her ambition reflects her passion for exploration, communication, and providing excellent service. Her message for 5th-grade students is to prioritise learning, behave respectfully, and always maintain discipline. She believes that these qualities will help them succeed in their studies and grow into responsible individuals. 

Purvika also has a keen interest in dance, which adds to her well-rounded personality. Through dance, she expresses her creativity, rhythm, and cultural appreciation. This passion allows her to balance academics and extracurricular activities, making her a dynamic and enthusiastic individual.
