Sustithi Das, a class 11 student at Jyotirmoy Public school has been selected for Vidyakiran Appreciation Award for being a shining example of versatility, determination and excellence. Whether in academics, extracurricular activities or leadership roles, she has consistently proven her abilities across various fields.
Her accomplishments in quizzes, debates, documentary- making, drama, dance and painting showcase her wide ranging talents. She, along with her team,, reached the semi final round of the Times Now School Quiz 2024, competing against 45 schools from across West Bengal. Her passion for science has led her to participate in various science exhibitions, further demonstrating her interest. She has also actively taken part in multiple inter-school competitions such as “Abhilasha 2020”, “Abhilasha 2021” and “Tanjam 2024”.
Her academic achievements are nothing short of extraordinary. In the CBSE class 10 board exam(2024), she emerged as the school topper with an outstanding 97.2 %. She also secured School rank 1, Zonal rank 6 and international Rank 206 in the international Mathematical Olympiad multiple times and successfully participated in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan.
Sutithi’s leadership qualities are evident in her role as a student council member, where she takes on responsibilities with commitment and vision. Her talent extends beyond academics, she is a Green Belt holder in Karate(All India Seishinkai Shito-RYo Do Karate Federation) and has excelled in literary competitions, winning the Senior category of the Tata Building essay writing Competition and qualifying for the final round of the english poem writing competition organized by Kalantar Art Trust.
